Despite a no show from PJ Black due to issues with his visa, the crowd was pumped for Tommy Dreamer and his big announcement. The crowd was not so pumped for an interruption by Andy Phoenix, who continued on his rant about not having lost the OCW Championship in a fair fight due to injury. Tommy made reference to Phoenix’ open challenge and asserted that there’s someone in the back who’s more than willing to take him on: Josh Shooter.
Andy Phoenix VS. Josh Shooter: Shooter.
Phoenix, up to his usual tricks, tried to bring the ring bell into the squared circle before choking Shooter with his tape. Shooter hit a Brogue kick on Phoenix and got the surprise roll up when Robbie E’s music sounded. As Shooter hightailed it out of there, Phoenix looked around in disbelief. A video of Robbie is screened, mocking Phoenix for yet another loss.
Slade Mercer & Gabriel Wolfe VS. Fox & Hound: Slade & Wolfe.
A new tag team in the form of Fox and Hound made their debut against the seemingly unstoppable force that is Slade and Wolfe, to no avail.
Cadman VS. Cletus: Cletus via DQ.
A match we thought would put an end to the acrimony between former friends and tag team partners Cadman and Cletus ended in disqualification when Cadman wouldn’t cease to choke Cletus in the corner. Vixsin, a peacekeeper in recent months, got on the mic and said that next time the two men meet in the ring, it’ll be with her as a special guest referee.
No. 1 Contendership Match: Syd Parker VS. Maddog: Maddog.
Maddog attempted to hold on to his No. 1 Contendership yet again when he met Syd Parker in a match that began with a double dropkick to level the playing field. Parker went up top, landing a moonsault on Maddog on the outside. Maddog’s trademark piledriver failed to put Parker away initially but after a devastating second one, Parker was down for the count.
Some technical difficulties prevented a video message from PJ Black being played, however we heard him loud and clear, saying he would still honour his date with OCW and that we will see him in the near future.

PJ Black’s opponent that wasn’t, Adam Brooks, graced Ashwood with his presence, citing his disappointment with not being able to face off with the DareWolfe. JXT, who wasn’t slated for action, interrupts, crushing Brooksy’s skull with the microphone to start a match between the two.
Adam Brooks VS. JXT: Brooks.
These two men were more than a perfect match, both in looks and ability. At times it was hard to tell the two apart, but there was no mistaking Brooksy landing the Swanton on JXT for the win.
Alexi Papadopoulos VS. Unos (with Dos): Unos.
The sneaky team of the Chicos de Luchas used their masked status to their advantage, pulling a switcheroo on Papadopoulos to gain a surprise victory.
Brooksy’s fellow tag team champion, KrackerJak, enters the OCW arena, excited to support Brooksy in his match against PJ Black. Ring announcer Michael Bassem informs Krackers that that match isn’t happening, but is interrupted by Slade Mercer and Gabriel Wolfe. They’re still pissed about losing their championship match to the Loose Bastards two months ago. KrackerJak justifies that whether Wolfe was the legal man or not, they still lost. Slade and Wolfe aren’t having it, and corner an injured Krackers with a Kendo stick—co-opting special guest Tommy Dreamer’s signature weapon—until he grants them another title shot. Brooksy, showering in the back, eventually makes the save, succumbing to Slade and Wolfe’s request to prevent further harm to his partner.
Micky Jackson VS. Sketch: Jackson.
It was all over for Sketch when he hit and missed a moonsault in the middle of the ring, allowing Jackson to use Jacko Lantern’s finisher, the chokeslam, on his opponent. Jackson’s celebration didn’t last long, though, as Lantern’s music played mind games with the Fantabulous one.
Hardcore Match: Tommy Dreamer VS Mohamad Ali Vaez: Dreamer.
This match mirrored the inferior use of the ring bell and Kendo stick earlier in the night, with Dreamer taking it to the returning Vaez. The action spilled into the crowd, as it is wont to do in these situations, but it was Dreamer who picked up the 1, 2, 3 in the middle of the ring.
After the match, as was promised, Dreamer made a very special announcement: that House of Hardcore will be working in partnership with OCW to bring his promotion Down Under!
