Introducing OCW’s second team in 30th January’s Tag Team Tournament, the Arm Dragons.
With a nice play on wrestling words, Josh “The Axe” Shooter and Joel “The Smash Hit” Bateman seek to put their shaky OCW tenures together in an attempt to secure inaugural tag team silver.
While Bateman possesses a less-than-stellar losing streak, teaming with the “The Axe” might just give him the advantage in what would be his first OCW victory. From Shooter’s perspective, however, it would seem that he’s made enemies of almost everyone else on the roster, so teaming with Bateman seems a natural fit: they’re both as sneaky and underhanded as each other. Perhaps the debut of the Arm Dragons is exactly what these two OCW Originals need to shake up their stagnancy and take their careers to the next level.
As was announced last week, they’ll have some tough competition against fan favourites and seasoned ring generals “The Loose Bastards”, KrackerJak and Adam Brooks. But while the “Bastards’” impressive pasts may seem intimidating, Shooter and Bateman have almost twenty years experience between them. If these two teams end up meeting in the tournament, it should be an interesting bout to say the least.
Can the Arm Dragons flip all-comers to the mat to walk away from Ashwood the first OCW Tag Team Champions? Book your tickets here to find out, and stay tuned to ocwaus.com, Facebook and Twitter for more tag team and match announcements.
